710 Indian workers who were dismissed because of a labor dispute and left the country were declared compensation. The Public Authority of Manpower(PAM) asked the Social Affairs and Labor Ministry to pay 250 KD as relief amount to every deposed worker who had registered with PAM
The Indian embassy submitted a list of 1,262 people, out of which The Public Authority of Manpower shortlisted 710 people who are eligible for the compensation of KD 250 each. A means has been created to deposit the amount directly to those workers who are currently out of Kuwait.
