Job Description

  • Handling all aspects of a project after or close to the purchase order and being the main contact person for our clients and suppliers after this stage
  • Providing technical support and project coordination between the contractor, client, consultant, manufacturers, sales force and our organization in general including other departments
  • Technical clarifications on site along with demonstrations for the installation, wiring and controlling
  • Preparing and submitting documentation including letters, data sheets, certificates, compliance sheets, etc.
  • Arranging samples, supervising a sample board construction and coordinating site submissions with supporting letters for final approval from the client or consultant
  • Working on approvals of our packages with the consultants and complying to their comments as much as possible
  • Attending project mock-up, construction or hand over stages of the project for any technical or installation topics or requests for advice from the customer
  • Following up with our purchasing and logistics team regarding the production status and making sure that material will arrive on site as per the terms and conditions agreed
  • Following-up on the customs clearance process and ensuring all documents are there for fast track procedures
  • Investigate order discrepancies with suppliers and other customer satisfaction issues to assist sales team
  • Providing technical support, documentation and submittals in a pre-sales stage along with arranging samples
  • Requesting quotations from different sub-suppliers/contractors when it comes to installation works
  • Coordinating the work of sub-contractors and managing them on site along with progress reports
  • Documentation of project milestones, the status, any issues and solving dates, acceptance signatures, etc.
  • Getting Approvals for all the material delivered to site along with the relevant signatures
  • Setting-up lighting control systems and programming different scenes in DALI or DMX for colour changing effects
  • Handover of the project and getting the client’s signature, which allows us to collect the remaining payment
  • Inspecting the site in case of any product failure and complaints and coordinate warranty claims with the client
  • Preparing and submitting warranty letters our clients as per the guarantee we receive from our suppliers
  • Providing support and assistance to team members in order to meet the division’s goals and targets

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge in lighting and the different fittings along with the related technical terms/parameters
  • Holding comprehensive product knowledge about both technical details and installation topics
  • Apply excellent attention to detail and organizational skills as well as expertise in client/customer relations
  • Strong time management skills and experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines including a sense of urgency, to get things done on timely manner

  • Self-motivated, pro-active and a strong drive to find solutions when it comes to problem-solving
