The interior ministry lifted the ban on the age limit for expatriates’ parents to bring them on visit visas. The department of residency was not issuing such visas for parents above 60 years of age.
But now, expatriates can procure visit visas for their parents regardless of their age after authorities began collecting medical fees for their parents’ treatment. The department said that the visa validity will be for one month, which can also be renewed by the respective governorate department directors.
