Alaska Airlines aircraft stolen from seattle, crashed on an island

Alaska Airlines employee without an authorization take off Q400 passenger airplane from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) on Friday night and crashed on Ketron Island in the southern Puget Sound. No passengers are believed to be on board the plane.It was followed by F-15 fighter jet as it was unauthorized takeoff which you can watch in the below video.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department told NBC News that the employee who stole the plane was “a single male suicide attempt,” as there were no passengers on the plane, and this is not a terrorist incident.

Aviation journalist Jon Ostrower was able to capture audio of the final radio call between the pilot, who called himself “Rick,” and air traffic controllers on the ground.
