The Public Authority for Manpower executed a campaign at a few malls in Sharq, which ended in findings that many offices were shut, which had sponsored hundreds.
The operations commenced as part of field tours that aimed at organizing the marketplace and stop marginal laborers against violation of residency law or those who work for the people other than the one who provided them residencies, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh said. The operation resulted in the discovery of 59 fake offices with 393 expats registered on them, she added. Regarding the reports of non-renewal of some expat laborers residencies who do not have degrees, the decision is still to be reviewed.
